With strong social science research, communication and problem-solving skills, our Research & Insights team provides sound advice and direction.
We weave critical and reflective practice into our mahi, and operate with integrity and courage to build trusted relationships and deliver impactful work. We are experienced at collaborating with community and iwi groups and applying te ao Māori concepts to our mahi, including Māori Data Sovereignty and Māori Wellbeing frameworks.

We are experienced in the full research process; from forming questions and designing projects, through to interpretation of results and visualisation of insights.
We’re well-versed in quantitative, qualitative and mixed-methods research, and work with our partners to determine what suits their needs (this may include standalone components of the research process, such as literature reviews, survey design, or engagement support). We are regular uses of the Integrated Data Infrastructure (IDI) and apply Māori Data Sovereignty Principles and Ngā Tikanga Paihere to our mahi.

Our partners come to us seeking to understand the outcomes and effects of projects, programmes, and strategies. We are experienced in the application of wellbeing frameworks to deliver monitoring and reporting indicators, impact assessments and logic models that help to answer questions such as: what works, for whom, and in what ways?

From scoping and consultation to analysis and evaluation, we work with our partners across the policy and strategy cycles. We support our partners to develop actionable, effective policies and strategies through scenario planning, gap analysis and performance monitoring.
